NIRJULI, 21 Mar: Around 50 central and state government officials participated in an awareness programme on ‘Information security and emerging technologies’, organised at the NERIST here by the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Itanagar, on Friday.
The programme was organised as part of the union Electronics and Information Technology Ministry’s project titled ‘Empowerment of police personnel and government officials through IT and cyber security training’.
Imphal NIELIT Scientist-E Dr Angom Buboo Singh and Rashtriya Raksha University Assistant Professor Abhijit Debnath were the resource persons.
Topics related to information security, cyber security, and AI and its applications were discussed by the resource persons during the programme.
