A matter of public concern

Editor,

I would like to raise a few important questions for public discussion, and urge that the matter be brought to the attention of the state government:

  1. The CUET exams for both UG and PG courses are scheduled to conclude by June.
  2. What will be the next step in the admission process for UG and PG courses after the CUET results are declared?
  3. Institutions like Delhi University have implemented centralized admission portals such as CSAS, which allow students to apply online. Based on their CUET scores, students are allotted colleges directly through the portal, making the process much more convenient.
  4. What about our state, Arunachal Pradesh? Will students still have to physically visit each college to submit admission forms? That would place a significant burden on parents, both financially and logistically.

Therefore, I humbly appeal to Chief Minister Pema Khandu Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona to kindly consider launching a centralized online admission portal for colleges in Arunachal.

This would ease the admission process, reduce unnecessary travel and expenses for parents, and bring our state’s education system closer to digital efficiency.

President,
