ITANAGAR, 25 Jul: Governor KT Parnaik paid tributes to the brave sons of India who laid down their lives during the Kargil war, on the occasion of the Kargil Vijay Diwas.
He expressed hope that the special occasion would continue to inspire patriotism, nationalism, and the spirit of sacrifice for the defence of the nation amongthe countrymen, “always and every time.”
In a message, the governor said that Kargil Vijay Diwas is more than a commemoration of victory. “It is a powerful reminder of the extraordinary courage, selfless sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism of our armed forces.”
“I join my fellow citizens of Arunachal Pradesh in paying our tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil war. May the valour of Kargil continue to guide and enthuse generations to come,” the governor said. (Raj Bhavan)
