HAWAII, Apr 26: Designated officers and supervisors for setting up Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELC) in Anjaw district participated in a training programme on ELC here on Thursday.
DRDA Project Director Mito Dirchi urged the participants to ensure that the ELCs are made functional at schools, government and semi-government offices, and private institutions.
Emphasis was laid on hands-on training and on creating awareness on the electoral process by means of bringing about greater participation through extra-curricular activities.
