TAWANG, 3 Oct: The five-day 3rd edition of the ‘Prime Minister’s Youth Camp at Border Area 2025’concluded on Thursday afternoon at the Kalawangpo Convention Hall in Tawang.
The closing ceremony was attended by, among others, Tawang MLA Namgey Tsering, Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo, and representatives from 24 participating districts of Arunachal Pradesh.
A total of 271 participants, including officials, took part in the camp, which was organized by the Department of Education. The camp aimed at fostering youth empowerment, leadership, and national integration in the border areas.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Tsering encouraged the youths to strive to become good human beings and contribute meaningfully towards nation-building. He also shared personal life experiences to inspire the participants to dedicate themselves to society and the country, while emphasizing the importance of preserving local traditions, culture, and dialects.
DC Angmo expressed hope that the camp would instill a strong sense of responsibility and patriotism among the youths.
2nd Battalion AP NCC Commanding Officer Colonel Abhijeet Bhambere and Itanagar Deputy Director of Secondary Education (DDSE) S Ronrang also addressed the gathering, motivating the young participants with their words.
