ITANAGAR, Sep 26: West Siang, Lower Subansiri and Kurung Kumey won their respective matches in the Kipa Kache Memorial Tournament being held at Dera Natung Government College playground here on Tuesday.
West Siang defeated West Kameng 2-1 in the first match and Lower Subansiri beat East Siang 3-1 in the second match. Kurung Kumey won the third match 2-0 against Kra Daddi.
The final match in Takam Sharmila Volleyball Tournament will be played between Kra Daadi and Lower Subansiri.
Kra Daadi beat West Siang 25-17, 25-8 and West Kameng 25-9, 25-7 to enter the final.
Lower Subansiri beat Kurung Kumey 25-23, 25-17. Earlier, Kurung Kumey beat Anjaw 25-7, 25-1.
The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) is organizing the Kipa Kache Memorial football tournament for boys and Takam Sharmila Volleyball Tournament for girls as part of the AAPSU Golden Jubilee celebration.
