NAHARLAGUN, Jun 25: The All Capital Complex Commercial Vehicle Association (ACCCVA) organized a traffic awareness programme here on Sunday.
Addressing the function, former president of the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF), Godak Bida said that traffic rules and regulations have to be followed by all, including the commercial vehicle owners as well as drivers.
He cautioned the drivers not to consume alcohol and tobacco while driving.
Former general secretary of AAPPTF, Toko Tadap emphasized on maintaining hygiene by the drivers. He also discouraged fine or penalty system and said that accident cases should not be taken otherwise.
Organising chairman Kipa Kanam and vice chairman Dayum Tacho also spoke on the occasion.
Members from 17 federal units of the ACCCVA were present on the occasion.
