KHONSA, Sep 27: A Panchayat Raj development meeting for PRI leaders and members was convened by DPDO cum Deputy Commissioner in-charge Techu Aran at NBF Hall on Wednesday.
ZPC Sontung Bangsia encouraged all the PRIs to hold regular Gram Sabhas for further decentralization of power and proper implementation of various schemes, while former MLA and resource person Kamthok Lowang briefed on various flagship programmes of the central and state governments, like Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, etc.
Member Secretary Dadam Block Asan Kri spoke on Mission Antyodaya and Swachhata Pakhwada. He exhorted the PRI members to actively take part in the programme and make it a grand success. (DIPRO)
