ITANAGAR, Jul 3: The state unit of the National People’s Party (NPP) in a letter to the health minister on Tuesday requested him to take urgent steps to post specialist doctors to the general hospital (GH) in Upper Subansiri HQ Daporijo for treating eye, ENT and orthopaedic ailments.
It also sought posting of adequate number of medical officers to the hospital.
The lack of specialist doctors in the general hospital has caused much inconvenience to the people, especially patients who are suffering from chronic diseases, state NPP general secretary Porchu Tamin stated in the letter.
