ROING, Jul 3: The water level of the Eze river has been rising at an alarming rate in the last few days, posing a threat to lives and properties of the riverside dwellers of Ezengo village here.
“The Lower Dibang Valley district administration has set up relief camps in advance, and is making arrangements to control any situation arising out of flood,” informed DDMO Alokong Perme.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner has issued an order asking the people residing in the flood prone areas to evacuate to safer places.
The zilla parishad office has been made operational as a relief camp, and any person seeking temporary shelter would be accommodated in the camp.
