KANUBARI, Sep 1: A total of 85 persons without Inner Line Permits (ILP) were found during a surprise ILP check drive conducted by a joint team of students and government officials at construction sites in Kanubari area on Friday, informed the Longding District Students Union (LDSU) in a release.
Persons without ILPs were booked for further enquiry.
Taking serious note on increasing number of unidentified persons in Kanubari, the drive was conducted jointly by the LDSU, Ruzen Students’ Union, Kanubari CO B Padu and OC R K Rai and his team.
Meanwhile, the LDSU has demanded proper investigation and action against the violators of ILP rules.
