Rainforest Trophy India to be held in Arunachal

ITANAGAR, Aug 10: Members of Namsai-based Manabhum Offroad Club of Arunachal (MOCA) called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu here on Friday, accompanied by Deputy CM Chowna Mein, Tourism Minister Jarkar Gamlin, and Namsai MLA Zingnu Namchoom.
The members called on the CM to inform him about the inaugural edition of the Rainforest Trophy India (RFT), which will be held in Arunachal Pradesh from October 16-20.
Slated to be the biggest off-road adventure sports drive ever held in the country, the RFT challenge will be held in the Manabhum range in Namsai district.
The chief minister congratulated the MOCA for making their presence felt at the national level in off-road motor sports. He assured all support for the upcoming RFT challenge.
The MOCA is organising the RFT of Malaysia in collaboration with Cougar Motorsport, Delhi. (CMO)
