NAHARLAGUN, Aug 25: Sixty members from different self-help groups (SHG) under the Rural Development Society attended a programme on ‘project implementation for SHGs’ at a city hotel here on Friday.
During the programme, which was sponsored by the NABARD, resource persons including the Naharlagun Apex Bank MD, the DDMR, NABARD officials, and bankers from various banks, informed the participants about various subsidized and low-interest rate loan schemes for SHGs, and the ways to avail them.
They also advised the SHGs to be purposeful and ensure productive utilization of loans.
