ITANAGAR, Aug 31: Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) General Secretary and former Zilla Parishad Member of Nyapin-Passang, Tadar Ado breathed his last at Naharlagun on Wednesday.
He left behind his wife, two sons and one daughter.
Born to late Tadar Taguk and Tadar Yario on 1st March, 1968 at Boduriang, Paji village under Nyapin administrative circle in Kurung Kumey district, late Ado started his education from Government Primary School Sarli in 1975and later went on to join Polytechnic College Dibrugarh in 1988.
He served as ZPM of Nyapin-Passeng from 2008-2013 and was serving as General Secretary of APCC and advisor of Tadar Abu Charitable Society till date. He was associated with the INC since 1984 and held various posts in the party. He was Chairman, APCC Panchayat Cell from 2008-2014, APCC Secretary from 2015 to 2017 and General Secretary in 2017.
The APCC, the Nyishi Elite Society (NES), the Tadar Abu Charitable Society and Cherum-Chera Welfare Society have expressed deep sense of condolence on the sudden and untimely demise of Tadar Ado.
The rank and file of the Congress party,including its frontal organizations, in a condolence meeting held at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan here on Thursday, observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect and tribute to the great soul.
He was as an active, energetic and dedicated Congress leader, who worked extensively for the greater interest of the INC party in the state. His immense contribution to build the party in the state would always be remembered. His death is an irreparable loss to the state, the APCC said.
Deeply mourning the death of Tadar Ado, the NES in its condolence message said his death is a great loss to the Nyishi community in particular and the state as a whole.
He was not only a ZPM and Congress leader but also a committed social leader of the community and state, the NES said.
Late Ado was not only a good leader but a great human being as well. His dedication to the welfare for the society and the state will be remembered for generations, said the Tadar Abu Charitable Society and Cherum-Chera Welfare Society in their condolences.
The APCC, NES and TACS and CCWS prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul and to bestow enough strengthen to bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
