YAZALI, Oct 19: State BJP executive member Likha Maj, while attending a public meeting at Tol village under Lower Subansiri district on Thursday, emphasized on improving farming methods for sustainable livelihood.
Calling for the farmers to adopt modern technologies, Maj said development of human resource and agri-allied sectors are must for peace and prosperity of the area.
Responding to the appeal of the villagers, he announced Rs 10 lakhs from his personal capacity for repairing of MIC channel and expressed hope that it will aid the farming community.
He also dispelled the fear about BJP and claimed that the saffron party works for the people, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
