NYAPIN, Dec 2: A mega awareness camp was conducted for all the organized and un-organized sector workers at Nyapin for Kurung Kumey district under the initiative of Arunachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB), Chairman Jalley Sonam on 25 November.
Addressing the large gathering of workers, RWD and IPR Minister and Govt. Spokesperson, Bameng Felix emphasized on more such awareness camps for workers’ awareness about the statutory and non-statutory benefits under State Labour Welfare Board.
Meanwhile, he requested the Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner to include such awareness camp during Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme.
APB&OCWWB Chairman, Jalley Sonam informed the workers that housing loan, tools benefits and Radio set will be provided to the registered workers of the state under the initiative of Chief Minister.
Felix, Sonam and Kurung Kumey district DC and SP also distributed non statutory benefits under like blankets, solar lamps, and mosquito nets, gumboot and TV sets to the registered workers during the programme, according to an release.
