KOLORIANG, Jan 11: Active case finding (ACF) activities under the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) was launched at the sub-judicial lockup here in Kurung Kumey district on Friday by DC Santosh Kumar Rai.
Besides police personnel, SP Mihin Gambo, DMO Dr Gumjom Ete, anganwadi workers and ASHAs were present on the occasion.
The DC and the SP also distributed fruits among the inmates, and assured to provide assistance during ACF activities in the district.
Field case finding activity was later carried out by the District Health Society, during which five inmates and over 50 police personnel and members of the public were screened.
