ZIRO, Jan 31: The Chalo FC won the second edition of the Sadhbhavna Football Tournament by defeating Subu Leyu FC by two goals in a final played at the Hija higher secondary school playground here in Lower Subansiri district on Thursday.
The Sadhbhavna football tourney is organized by 138th Bn CRPF every year under its civic action programme. This year, seven teams from Ziro valley locked horns for the championship.
Padi Nobin of Chalo FC was adjudged the best player.
PWD Executive Engineer Nani Chailyang, retired engineer Khoda Gyati and 138 BN, CRPF Commandant Paras Nath attended the closing ceremony and gave away prizes to winners. (DIPRO)
