ITANAGAR, Feb 2: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has condemned an alleged distasteful and offensive statement on social media, targeting Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The APCC said a derogatory post describing the physical appearance of Priyanka is being circulated on the social media, allegedly by the BJP and its supporters, to malign her image.
“This is because her entry into active politics has terrified the BJP,” the APCC said in a release on Saturday.
The party also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for remaining silent over the alleged posts against Priyanka.
“The silence of Modi over this kind of attack on Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is appalling and questionable,” the APCC said.
