RAGA, Feb 15: Informing that unknown persons have been encroaching on the campus of the government higher secondary school, which is located near the newly-developed Boori-Boot ground here, the All Kamle District Students’ Union has requested the Kamle DC to initiate urgent steps to ensure that the ground and its structures are handed over to the school to prevent further encroachment.
In a representation to the DC, the union on Thursday also said that “massive earth-cutting following recent development of festival ground has increased the threat of mudslide in the school campus.”
It said that, despite the union’s repeated pleas to the authority concerned to allocate fund to protect the school’s structure, no step in this regard has been initiated.
