BORDURIA, Feb 19: Local MLA Wanglin Lowangdong on Tuesday inaugurated a 100-bedded girls’ hostel and podium for the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here in Tirap district.
Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Lowangdong assured them that he would continue to work for all-round development of his constituency and the district.
The MLA commended DDSE Pubi Lombi, GHSS Principal Manpong Tangjang and the PWD for their coordinated efforts in completing the hostel within the stipulated time.
The hostel has been constructed with NEC fund, while the fund for the podium was sanctioned by the DoTCL, informed PWD AE Y Buii.
Among others, Borduria CO Lim Modi, chiefs, gaon burahs, youth leaders and former panchayat members of Borduria and nearby villages were present at the function. (DIPRO)
