BOGNE, Feb 19: The Aalo (West Siang)-based Ramakrishna Mission distributed ‘winter relief’ to 193 persons in Bogne village in Siang district on 17 February, in the presence of Swami Yogishwarananda, Swami Ishananda, and others.
Meanwhile, the NSS unit of the North East Frontier Technical University conducted a social service at Sipu-Puyi Colony in Aalo on Tuesday, during which the colony’s road was repaired and cleaned, and the residents were apprised of the importance of cleanliness.
Besides the students and teachers of the university, members of the public also participated in the drive, which was led by Nyajum Padi. (DIPRO)
