LONGRAN, Mar 4: Changlang North MLA Tesam Pongte on Monday inaugurated the community hall in Longran village.
The building was constructed by the DRDA, under the SIDF.
Pongte, who was accompanied by ADC T Jerang, HoDs and others, urged the villagers to properly maintain the community hall.
Responding to a memorandum submitted by the villagers, seeking supply of potable water in the village, the MLA said “a scheme is already under the process of sanctioning, and soon the problem of drinking water in the village will be over.”
Speaking on the shortage of teachers in the upper primary school here, the MLA assured to take steps to ensure posting of two more teachers in the next session.
He also said the matter of repairing of the electric line and the transformer here will be taken up soon. (DIPRO)
