YINGKIONG, Mar 8: A one-day legal awareness camp was jointly organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Upper Siang district and Integrated Child Development Services for the members of Upper Siang Women Welfare Society here on Friday to mark the International Women’s Day.
During the camp, the participants were sensitized them regarding schemes available under legal aid services and various provision of the law.
CDPO, Pakker Nomuk and member secretary Mery Kamsi as resource persons spoke about the schemes available under legal aid services, women rights, POCSO Act and scheme available at CDPO.
Legal brochures were also distributed to the participants on the occasion.
