ITANAGAR, Mar 8: Taba Rosy has been appointed as the member of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
In a notification, the Ministry of Women and Child Development (Child Welfare I Section), Government of India informed that the period of appointment will be for three years.
She will be a member of the NCPCR for ‘Elimination of Child Labour or Children in Distress.’
Rosy, who hails from Potin village under Lower Subansiri district is a practicing advocate and is also a former member of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for women.
