YINGKIONG, Jun 25: The Border Road Organisation’s (BRO) Project Brahmank Chief Engineer (CE) RK Dhiman recently visited the last point of the road sector beyond Tuting circle in Upper Siang district, and exhorted the BRTF to expedite the two-laning of the road and construction of the major bridges, including the hi-tech cantilever pre-stress bridge at Ditte-Dimme.
The 761 Border Road Task Force (BRTF) has been engaged in the development and construction of the roads and the bridges.
The CE motivated the BRTF personnel working in the difficult and inhospitable terrain, and lauded the efforts made by the BRTF to improve the road from Pangin to Gelling, via Yingkiong, Moying and Tuting.
He emphasized on preparing meticulous work plans, ensuring quality, and optimum utilization of resources “to provide the best possible riding surface.”
The CE also lauded the construction of the 55-metre bridge at Bomdo, and advised the ground team to work in coordination with the local people. (DIPRO)
