Road project yet to be implemented, says union

ITANAGAR, Aug 30: The Arunachal Indigenous Students’ Union in a representation to the chief minister on Thursday alleged that the 10-km NLCPR road project from Rayung to Rungte-Rite via Debe, Tudubath, Patey, Pallap and Gong in Chambang circle of Kra Daadi district, which was reportedly sanctioned in 2013, has not yet been implemented.
As per the tender, the road project should have been completed within 18 months, the union said. It also alleged that construction work on two Bailey bridges has also not started, saying it has resulted in transportation and communication problems for the locals.
