ITANAGAR, Nov 5: Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Dr B D Mishra emphasised on proper study on the viability of the site with reference to population and mortality rate of the Capital Complex, in addition to the geographical topography during a visit to the burial and cremation ground for Itanagar-Capital Complex at Karsingsa on Sunday.
“A comprehensive and holistic approach must be there to address the social implications. The planning must be to meet the requirements for next 50 years at least”, the Governor said and advised the Municipal Council members to vigorously take up cleanliness drives in the state capital to realize the goal of Swachh Bharat.
Chief Councilor of Itanagar Municipal Council, Kipa Kaku, members of Itanagar Municipal Council, PCCF Omkar Singh and Secretary to Governor Vinod P Kavle, accompanied the Governor.
