YUPIA, Sep 19: Papum Pare DC Pige Ligu along with officers and staff of the health department, schoolchildren, teachers and nursing students took part in a rally organised here by the District Health Society on Tuesday to mark Ayushmaan Bharat Pakhwada.
The DC spoke about the CM Arogya Arunachal Yojana, and urged the people to avail the healthcare facilities being provided free of cost by the government at the health and wellness centres (HWC).
He also requested the headmistress of the upper primary school here to start monthly health screening of the schoolchildren at the HWC here, in coordination with the health department.
DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu highlighted the objectives of the Ayushmaan Bharat Pakwada celebration and the facilities available at the HWCs.
DRCHO Dr Worar Taku and HWC State Programme Officer Prince Jacob also spoke. (DIPRO)
