ZIRO, Sep 19: Officials of the Lower Subansiri district administration and the fire services on Wednesday inspected hotels, shops, restaurants and schools here to ensure that fire safety measures are installed there.
The inspection was carried out in view of the arrival of winter, during which fire accidents frequently occur, and to sensitize the public to fire safety measures.
EAC Bamin Tarang directed the shopkeepers and the hotel owners to install first aid and firefighting equipment in their establishments within a month.
Besides Tarang, the official team included DDMO Nima Drema, Fire Service OC Tage Lampung, and Fire Service ASI Michi Sambyo. (DIPRO)
