ITANAGAR, Nov 9: All Kra Daadi District Students’ Union (AKDDSU) has appealed to the state Govt to fulfill the demands of the SSA teachers in greater interest of education scenario of the state.
Informing that three days mass casual leave of SSA teachers has badly affected the academic study of the students in Kra Daadi district, the Union said that 70 percent of teachers of the state is from SSA and therefore, government should fulfill their demand to avoid unnecessary harassment to the students.
AKDDSU General Secretary, Pakyum Talop also appealed to the state government to pay regular salary to the teachers who are serving under RMSA.
During its recent school visit, the AKDDSU team found that 80 percent of schools in remote areas of the district are depending on SSA teachers and the SAA teachers in remote areas are not getting Govt facilities like medical, electricity, ration, teacher quarter and regular salary.
