PALIN, Oct 30: The 3rd Kra Daadi District Chess Tournament 2019, organized by the Kra Daadi District Chess Association, concluded here on Wednesday.
Tassar Mohan, with full possible seven points, won the tournament title. Kalu Tamang and Sorang Mose bagged the second and third positions, respectively.
Balo Tachak was declared as the best veteran player, while Techi Yasa received the best woman player award.
Charu Payum and Heri Lames were adjudged as the best players in U-15 and U-12 years categories, respectively.
Around 50 players from various circles of Kra Daadi district participated in the tournament.
The tournament was supervised by FIDE arbiter Taba Anam and he was assisted by Nich Nanu as deputy arbiter.
The closing ceremony was attended by DMO Dr Higio Tama and ADO Tojo Basar. (DIPRO)
