NAMSAI, Jan 13: Altogether 210 youths were registered for different trades during a ‘skill development, sensitization and trainees’ selection rally’ organised jointly by the industries department and the Namsai district administration here on Monday.
Ten vocational training providers (VTP) participated in the event.
Local MLA Zingnu Namchoom, who along with National Skill Development Corporation Analyst Masotmi Zimik attended the event, urged unemployed youths and dropouts to take advantage of the programme.
Zimik highlighted various aspects of skill development schemes, and advised the youths to actively participate in the programme.
