RONO HILLS, Feb 3: A quick-fire half-century by Nabam Josh helped Itanagar set up the final showdown with Kra Daadi with a four wicket win over Upper Subansiri in the Tado Kholi Inter-State Cricket Tournament here on Monday.
Josh’s 60-run knock was studded with three boundaries and a six.
Upper Subansiri scored 174/10 in 39.3 overs after being sent to bat first. Mibom Mosu top-scored with 42 runs from 45 balls.
Shuhel Aktar Ansari took four wickets and conceded only 21 runs. His 7.3-over spell also included a maiden over.
Itanagar chased down the target in 38 overs, losing six wickets.
Later, Josh was adjudged the man of he match.
Earlier, Kra Daadi beat East Kameng by 56 runs in the first semifinal.
Opting to field first after winning the toss, East Kameng bowled out Kra Daadi for a modest 165 runs in 37.2 overs.
Chand Kumar claimed four wickets, conceding 22 runs in 7.2 overs.
East Kameng failed to chase the 166-run target, and were bundled out for 109 runs in 34.3 overs.
Kra Daadi’s Takam Kaha was adjudged the man of the match for his 4-wicket haul.
