YAZALI, Apr 9: The Lower Subansiri district administration has set up customer service at the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank in Yazali for cash withdrawals.
The move has been initiated by Yazali CO T Thongdok, in order to prevent the public from travelling to the lone ATM in the NEEPCO premises, which is about 6 kms from here.
The administration has also provided rations to 675 labourers and daily wage earners whose livelihoods have been drastically affected by the lockdown. Another 1099 labourers are being provided with food and shelter by their employers.
Meanwhile, in order to ensure strict monitoring of home quarantine, the District Health Society (DHS) has prepared a map of all the quarantine houses in the villages in Old Ziro, Hapoli and Ziro II for easy reference, better follow-up, and tracking.
The DHS has also started thermal screening of the police personnel on duty. (DIPRO)
