Migrant workers brought to relief camp

NAHARLAGUN, Apr 16: Twenty-three stranded migrant labourers were on Thursday brought to the relief camp set up at the government higher secondary school in Model Village here.
Circle Officer Nikita Panggam informed that all facilities, including food and lodging, are being provided to the labourers stranded due to the nationwide lockdown.
“Their employers left them after completion of work. They are all healthy and are satisfied with the facilities provided at the camp,” the CO said.
The relief camp has been set up to provide shelter to stranded migrant workers. Naharlagun EAC Ashok Tajo is in charge of the camp.
