JAIRAMPUR, Sep 8: Bharat Jodo Tiranga Yatra Rally organised by BJP Yuva Morcha was flagged off here on Friday morning. The bike rally led by Parliamentary Secretary cum MLA Laisam Simai culminated at Jairampur market after covering nearly 10 Km from Jairampur town to Terit Nagar. The bike rally was followed by BJP Mandal executive meeting at Ongle-Sapolo hall.
MLA Laisam Simai advised the party workers to penetrate the grass root level and educate them about the party manifesto and the various flagship programmes launched by the central and state governments.
Changlang district BJYM president Roshan Ngemu elaborated about Bharat Jodo Abhiyan, State Council member Anthony Jugli and ST Morcha president Kimlong Longri spoke on economic and political resolution respectively.
Earlier, Laisam Simai along with ADC SS Choudhory and the shopkeepers of Jairampur town participated in roadside plantation of medical plants sponsored by Nampong Forest Division.
