ITANAGAR, Sep 26: The Second Season of Arunachal Idol Singing Talent Hunt will begin in October this year, informed the Arunachal Idol-2017 organizing committee Chairman, Mallo Attu in a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club here on Tuesday.
The organizing committee of the Arunachal Idol Season-II also informed that winner of the Arunachal Idol-2017, Season-II will receive a cash award of Rs 5 lakh.
Giving details about the registration process of the talent hunt, the organizing committee disclosed that interested participants can apply through application form as well as register online, information regarding which will be updated on the Arunachal Idol Facebook page and on its website www.arunachalidol.org.
Auditions will be held for six different zones, including Ziro, Lower Subansiri district (01 October), Aalo (4 October), Pasighat (7 October), Namsai (10 October), Bomdila, West Kameng (12 October), Itanagar, Papum Pare (14 October) and Itanagar, Papum Pare (20-22 October).
From each zone, only 50 participants will be selected for mega audition and only 12 singers from mega audition will be selected for competition round.
The programme will also be telecast episode-wise from October 28 every Saturday and Sunday till the grand finale on December 23 on DD North East.
