All set for sixth ZFM

ITANAGAR, Sep 27: The picturesque Ziro Valley is all ready to host the sixth edition of the immensely popular Ziro Festival of Music (ZFM), set to begin from September 28.
The four days festival, dubbed the greatest outdoor music festival, is hosting 40 bands with five international acts.
It is not only the record number of musicians that have descended in Ziro that is making news. Like all other previous years, this year too, thousands of people from India and abroad are expected to take part in the festivity. Hundreds have already reached destination Ziro.
Talking to this daily, Hano Bobby, the festival director said that it’s been a wild but fantastic journey so far, and that his team is excited to welcome guests from across the world to the sixth edition.
As the hotels in Ziro have run out of space already, hundreds of homestays have sprung up overnight to accommodate the visitors. That apart, 11 tented camps by locals and outside entrepreneurs have been set up to accommodate some 6000 festival goers.
Like the former years, the festival this year also promises music, art, culture and happiness -all at one venue- Biiri village. Two stages have also been set up – Danyi for the day and Piillo for the evenings.
