YINGKIONG, Oct 3: RD and PR Minister Alo Libang formally kicked off the Mission Antodaya programme at Pugging village of Upper Siang district amidst huge gathering of Deputy Commissioner, Duly Kamduk and other Govt. officers, PRI members including ZPM Bading Teng, public leaders, villagers and students on October 1 last.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the 15 days Mission Antyodaya – Gram Samridhi Evam Swachhata Pakhwada is an efforts of Govt. of India to make the local communities as an active partners in their own well-being by planning, implementing and achieving by themselves on all govt. developmental schemes.
First component of the mission – The Swachata Pakwada would be celebrated in all gram Panchayat’s across the country of which 5000 clusters were selected by the state Govt. for Antodaya Programme. Pugging being starting village Upper Siang will have a share of 56 gram panchayat villages.
The second component of Gram Samridhi would be organized under Mission Antodayaw hereby all flagship Programmes connected to various Deptt./ministers shall have partnerships approach by the PR institutions, villagers and all stakeholders for its planning, superintending, execution and consultant . The schemes are PMGSY, PMAY, MGNREGA, Digital India, AAJEEVIKA.
He urged upon the gathering to avail the given opportunity and make themselves to be an active partner to transform the Govt. Mission into a reality.
Earlier, Upper Siang DRDA PD, Hengo Basarhad given the brief out-line of the Antodaya Gram Smridhi Evam Swachata Pakwa programme.
The occasion commensurates with Golden Jubilee celebration of Govt. Primary School Pugging and it was instantly upgraded to Middle School.DIPRO
