Chow Pamaling Namchoom Memorial Old Age Shelter Home at Tengapani, Namsai. At present, there are five old nuns living in the shelter home. While talking to this daily, caretaker of the shelter home informed that they have capacity to keep 20 people and added that it is open to anyone who wishes to stay. There are nine rooms along with a prayer hall, a patient room, a kitchen and attached toilet-bathrooms. Late Chow Phamaling Namchoom (1934-1994) was a renowned social worker and one of the pioneers of modern Tai Khampti society.
