Establishment of large number of industries in Arunachal Pradesh may not be possible due to topographical constraint, but the state can make rapid progress in hydro power and tourism sectors and earn huge revenue.
Our state has huge tourism potentials with beautiful landscape, archeological sites and mighty rivers like Siang , Kameng etc which are ideal for rafting and other water sports. Apart from scenic beauty, the state has huge scope for cultural tourism too.
However, mere celebration of tourism day and appointment of Bollywood actor as brand ambassador of state tourism are not sufficient. The tourism sector needs required manpower to promote and accelerate the growth of tourism.
Therefore, we earnestly request the Govt to advertise the vacant posts of DTOs and TIOs at the earliest.
