ITANAGAR, Oct 8: On account of shifting of 132 KV Ziro-Roing via Daporijo, Aalo and Pasighat Transmission Line at some locations to make way for construction of Potin to Pangin Trans-Arunachal Highway and for other annual maintenance works on the line, the Power supply from Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project will be affected in some districts.
In a release, the State Load Despatch Centre informed that power supply to Upper Subansiri, West Siang, Siang, East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit and Namsai districts will be disrupted during day time from 6AM onwards.
However, the power supply will be normalised during evening hours.
The load-shedding will be done in two phases, with first phase being from October 12 to 16 and second from October 21 to 25. The department has appealed to customers of the affected districts to bear with them.
