AALO, Oct 16: Apparel design competition on traditional attires and cultural extravaganza stole the show at the two day Nyirmen Aalo Festival here on October 14 and 15.
The apparel designing competition on traditional attires and various cultural extravaganzas were presented under the supervision and advice of organizing committee President and Secretary Liter Sora Loyi and Lee Ete Ngomdir.
Many cultural troupes from Aalo and its vicinity thronged Gumin Kiin to display traditional Mega Ponu at Nehru Chowk Sunday morning.
Jarjum Gamlin Ete, Central Executive Committee Chief Admin (APWWS) and Kento Jirdo, Spokesperson, GWS attended the closing function and narrated their association with festivals and cultural movements in the past.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan and Joint Secretary (Admin) Tutem Ao Welfare Society Tumge Ete attended the opening ceremony.
The festival was organized under the banner of GWS and Galo Ane. DIPRO
