BJP takes out rally against CPM

ITANAGAR, Oct 16: The Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday organized Jansuraksha Pad Yatra to express support and solidarity to the nationwide movement to protest against alleged atrocities and killings of BJP and RSS karyakartas in Kerala by CPI (M).
The rally started from Tennis Court IG Park and culminated near Vidyut Bhawan. The Yatra was led by the State BJP President Tapir Gao and was joined by ministers, parliamentary secretaries, MLAs and large number of BJP office bearers and workers. Later, a memorandum was submitted to the Governor through the Deputy Secretary, urging upon him to take up the matter with President of India to immediately intervene into the case and stop further killings in Kerala.
BJP is carrying out Jansuraksha Pad Yatra across country alleging that RSS and BJP workers are being targeted in Kerala by Communist party and its state government. On the other hand CPI (M) alleges that their workers are targeted by RSS/BJP. As per records of the 96 political killings recorded in Kerala since January 1995, 42 were victims affiliated to the BJP-RSS and 40 were from the CPI (M). Both BJP and communist play the victim after each killing.
