Officials inspect upcoming Digital Space Theatre & Innovation Hub

ITANAGAR, Oct 24: A high level team under the leadership of Bamang Mangha, Chairman, Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology (APSCST), Er Gaken Ete Secretary, Science & Technology and C D Mungyak, Director cum Member Secretary State Council for Science & Technology on Tuesday carried out an inspection of the upcoming Digital Space Theatre and Innovation Hub here at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre.
The inspection was carried out in presence of an expert team led by Er A K Saha, Deputy Chief Engineer, NE Zone, National Council of Science Museum, Ministry of Culture, Kolkata and officials of PWD.
After physical inspection of construction site, a review meeting was held at the Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, where Er Ete informed that the project is going to be a model project and highly beneficial for the students as well as general mass.
He also requested PWD officials to assure the quality of the construction as per drawing and specification and suggested some rectifications also.
A target was given to PWD officials to hand over the site in all respects by the end of November 2017 to the NCSM to carry out other works, like installation of equipment, laboratory etc.
Director Mungyak also urged the PWD to complete the project on time as it has already been delayed.
The inspection team also visited the construction site of Rain Water Harvesting System -a demonstration project at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, sanctioned by the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, GoI, Kolkata.
