ITANAGAR, Nov 4: the All East Kameng Capital Complex Student’s Welfare Association (AEKCCSWA), Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donor Organization (AVBDO) and Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti (AVYS), in collaboration with the State Blood Transfusion Council and Rama Krishna Mission Hospital organized a voluntary blood donation camp at RK Mission Conference Hall here on Saturday.
Blood was collected from 27 donors, including four females, out of the 50, who had registered for donation.
This was AEKCCSWA’s third collaborative endeavour with AVBDO in the last three years.
Reiterating their motto, “Help and Guide,” AEKCCSWA President Ravi Fachang encouraged the entire student fraternity to join hands in the process of nation building and assured the gathering to put forth their helping hand in days to come.
In the last month, two similar camps were organized by the All Tirap Changlang Longding Namsai Capital Complex Student’s Union and Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Alumni Association of Arunachal Pradesh within the Capital Complex.
Kerala Kala Samskarika Vedi (KKSV), Itanagar also organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Naharlagun on Saturday, wherein 25 units of blood were collected.
The camp, which was organized as part of the Statehood Day Celebration of Kerala, received overwhelming response from the members of KKSV and its well-wishers.
This is the second the KKSV has organized such blood donation camp to commemorate the day.
