ITANAGAR, Nov 5: The All Kra Daadi District Students’ Union (AKDDSU) called for early completion of the bridge over Kumey connecting Yangte and Tali.
The Union urged the contractor concerned to maintain quality in work and engage sufficient workers at construction site to ensure early completion of the bridge.
The bridge, if completed, will serve as vital link between Tali and Yangte and people are eagerly waiting for its early completion, the students’ union said in a release.
The AKDDSU also appealed to the Public Works Department of Tali Division to ensure timely completion of the bridge.
The Chief Minister had announced Rs 5 crore as demanded by the NES for early completion of the bridge, the release added.
