Capital Complex women soccer team to play in 2nd division National Women’s Football League

ITANAGAR, Nov 7: State league winner Capital Complex women’s team is all set to participate in the second division Indian Women’s Football League this year.
“Capital Complex is one of the participating clubs of this year’s second division National Women’s Football League scheduled to be held in Kolhapur, Maha-rashtra from December 25,” said Arunachal Pradesh Football Association General Secretary, Kipa Ajay.
This will also earn Arunachal the rare feat of becoming the second state after Manipur to participate in any national women’s football league from the North East Region, said Ajay.
Describing it a great achievement, he appealed to all well wishers, football buffs and government to encourage and extend all possible help to the participating club.
The APFA General Secretary exhorted women footballers of the state to come forward, play the game and win glory for the state and the country.
