YINGKIONG, Nov 9: In a move to inculcate awareness among the masses, a legal awareness rally was organized on Thursday to mark national legal service day under the aegis of district legal service authority, Upper Siang District.
Speaking on the occasion Secretary DLSA, Mary Kamsi, briefed about the programme and schemes available under legal aid schemes. She urged the public especially the under privileged to avail the benefits. She also informed that the 10 days long campaign title “Connecting to serve” will be organized by conducting door to door campaign, literary competition, and documentary display at select area of the district, reports DIPRO.
The West Kameng District Legal Service Authority is conducting door to door legal awareness campaigns in the district from Nov 9-18.
The Bar Association of Bomdila and Para Legal volunteers are participating in the program.
